During Christmas Mainline Coaches provided transport to London for the Dreams and Wishes charity. Dreams & Wishes is a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. Spending the day as VIPs, the children visited the House of Commons and 10 Downing Street before wrapping the day up with a ride on the London Eye. The children and their families were given a tour around the Speaker’s quarters of the House of Commons where they enjoyed lunch with the Speaker himself.

10 Downing Street was the group’s next stop as they enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the building. The group were surprised by another special guest as they were joined by Strictly Come Dancing star Christina Rihanoff who posed for pictures with the children.
Also pictured Ann Oatley receiving an award on behalf of Mainline from the speaker of the house of commons for outstanding contribution to Charity.

The next stop was the London Eye, Tony Curtis MBE, chairman of the charity, said: “It was an absolutely fantastic and memorable day for all of the children and their families. We’re really happy that we’re able to keep bringing the children on these trips as they create such great memories and we thank Mainline for all their support.”
